BUT for a new car that I've had only a year, (purchased NEW in 2018) it's been in the shop for warranty work far too often, at least once a month. From a leaking transmission to a gas tank that spits up like an overfed baby, it's getting old. I've put 30,000 miles on it, and I should have only needed oil changes.
They still haven't solved the gas issue after all this time. I put the nozzle in, set it to on, back away, and when the tank is full, the pump clicks off just like it should. Then the tank spits gas out all over my feet if I'm too close, clearly a pressure issue. They've dropped the tank, changed the lines, replaced the neck, and more.... It's going back in tonight for something else the Ford engineers want to try. It's sad when a gas station attendant knows your car because it's the one that always makes a mess. This has been going on for the entire time that I've owned it.
